Yiros or gyros are a firm favourite in Greece, and you’ll find this casual street food everywhere. Authentic yiros are made on a vertical rotisserie – this is where the meat is cooked. It is then shaved off of this and stuffed into pita bread with a generous helping of tzatziki.
