YIRO:
A yiro is almost like a meat kebab or shawarma (but better). Choose between mouth-watering meat or chicken or vegetarian options such as halloumi or falafel. At Mythos, it is served with tzatziki, tomato, red onion, and a side of fresh-cut chips. If you can’t choose, why not order “The Three Greeks” which consists of three mini yiros (beef, chicken, and halloumi)?
MEZE:
The word meze means a taste or a bite. It is used to describe small plates of savoury snacks.
SOUVLAKI:
Souvlaki consists of large pieces of meat cooked on a long skewer, over a charcoal barbecue. At Mythos, we cut these into cubes and serve them with fresh chips, tzatziki, & pita bread.
MOUSSAKA:
A traditional Greek dish made with layers of brinjal, potatoes, beef mince, and béchamel sauce. Also available in a vegetarian option.
PASTITSIO:
Pastitsio is another traditional Greek dish, made with layers of macaroni, beef mince, and cheese. It is topped with béchamel sauce and then baked in the oven.
EKMEK KATAIFI:
A traditional Greek dessert perfect for a person with a sweet tooth! Layered kataifi pastry with walnuts, almonds, and pecan nuts, and topped with fresh homemade custard and whipped cream.
